As the only rec program a sports facility and amusement park, activities could include nature walks, arts & crafts, sports, and kick ball as well as tried & true favorites like inflatables, laser tag, go-karts and mini golf. Lunch is included.

Summer Rec 2023

Summer, done right! School’s out which means there’s fun to be had at Starland! As the only rec program a sports facility and amusement park, activities may include nature walks, arts & crafts, soccer, basketball, and kick ball as well as tried & true favorites like inflatables, laser tag, go-karts and mini golf. Lunch is included.

Dates: June 19 – August 25
Cost:  AM Half Day (9AM-12:30PM) – $65  |  Full Day – $90 | Full Week – $389
Add-Ons: Early Drop-Off (8AM) or Late Pick-up (5PM) – $15

  • 9AM: Check-In
  • 9:30-10:15AM: Activity (ex: kickball, capture the flag, volleyball)
  • 10:15-10:30AM: Snack Break
  • 10:30-11:15AM: Activity (ex: tie dying, coloring, painting)
  • 11:15-12:15PM: Activity (ex: mini golf, laser tag, go-karts, bumper cars)
  • 12:15-1PM: Lunch Break
  • 1-2:15PM: Activity(ex: basketball, volleyball, kickball, soccer – will include coaching by our sports managers)
  • 2:15-3:15PM: Activity (ex: mini golf, laser tag, go-karts, bumper cars)
  • 3:15-4PM: Pick-Up & Closing Activity

Your child not a fan of the day’s lunch? No problem! Feel free to send them with a bagged lunch—we only ask that it does not contain nuts (like a PB&J) as we are a nut-free program.

FAQs

Registration is open for rec! Grab your spot before it’s sold out.  No walk-in or same day registrations allowed.

Refund Policy: Refunds are not given under any circumstance unless the Program Safeguard ($25 per week) is purchased at the time of booking. 

Credits: If the program is cancelled by Starland due to extenuating circumstance, a prorated credit will be applied to the account.

Enjoy the many indoor & outdoor activities our campers love year after year, including access to our fun park (mini golf & go-karts, anyone?), sports facility (150,000 sq ft of courts & turf!), as well as arts & crafts, nature walks & more. Highlights from last year include tie dying, scavenger hunts, capture the flag and themed week activities, including Christmas in July!

Yes, we allow you to drop your child off up to an hour early (8AM) or pick up an hour late (5PM) for an additional $15, which can be purchased during registration.

We strive to ensure all kids and staff are proactively scanned and all social distancing guidelines are adhered to. In the case that there was a suspected case of COVID-19 at Starland, we’ll work closely with Hanover’s Department of Public Health to ensure we minimize the risk to the community.

Every child should bring: a reusable water bottle with their name clearly labeled, backpack, bathing suit or a change of clothes, money for the snack bar, and sneakers.

Personal belongings, Nintendo switch, cell phones, electronic games, trading cards, weapons (real or fake), and toys. Starland is not and cannot be held responsible for the loss or damage of toys, games, clothes, or any other personal belongings. 

Your child should wear weather-suitable and comfortable clothing. We also recommend your child wearing closed toe shoes as they’ll be active throughout the day.

Upon request we will try our best to group friends or siblings together, however we cannot make any guarantees.
