Starland has implemented new safety and cleaning procedures, per the recommendations of Hanover’s Department of Public Health, the Governor, and CDC, that ensures we are providing the best possible care for every child. Specifically:

  • Every morning everyone will, 1) have their temperature taken with contact-free thermometers and 2) verbally screened with their parent or guardian
  • Encouraged social distancing by creating dedicated groups no larger than 10 campers per 1 Starland employee
  • Frequently touched surfaces will be cleaned and disinfected by staff every 2-3 hours
  • Each group will have a designated cleaning station to promote frequent hand-washing and sanitizer use
  • All Starland employees and rec program kids are required to wear face coverings at all times, except when socially distanced

We strive to ensure all kids and staff are proactively scanned and all social distancing guidelines are adhered to. In the case that there was a suspected case of COVID-19 at Starland, we’ll work closely with Hanover’s Department of Public Health to ensure we minimize the risk to the community.

Expect to enjoy the same fun activities our kids loved this summer, including access to our fun park (mini golf & go-karts, anyone?), sports facility (150,000 sq ft of courts & turf!), as well as arts & crafts, nature walks.

Yes, we allow you to drop your child off up to an hour early (8AM) or pick up an hour late (5PM) for an additional $10, which can be purchased during registration.
