Flag Football


We’re back for year 4 of the Starland Youth NFL Flag Football League!  8 weekends of competitive action and 1 weekend of playoffs. The games are 5-on-5, so a roster of 8-10 players is recommended. All registrations must be submitted as a full team–no “free agent” sign-up.

The games consist of two 25-minute halves. All players must wear a mouthguard. This is a fun and competitive way to play the game of football in a safe environment.

Who: Grades 1-8 (separated 1/2, 3/4, 5/6, and 7/8; Coed)

When: Sunday morning & midday

Dates: January 12th through March 22nd (excluding 1/26)

Cost: $975 per team (early bird discount = $925 if registered by 12/20)

Starland Sportsplex & Fun Park is proud to offer flag football in partnership with NFL Flag! Our main focus is making sure everyone is having FUN while learning the basics of the game, teamwork and important lessons in sportsmanship. Each player receives:

  • NFL Team-Identified Reversible Jersey

NFL FLAG is the premier youth flag football league for boys and girls ages 5-14. The program provides young players a fun and exciting opportunity to engage in non-contact, continuous action while learning lessons in teamwork. Launched in 1996, the NFL FLAG Football program is designed to educate young people about football while emphasizing participation and sportsmanship. Players learn skills and lessons that help them succeed both on and off the field.
