WEEK #1 MONDAY SEPTEMBER 17 “LETS GET AFTER IT-ALL DRILL ORIENTATED”
A night devoted to the way YOU should play the game. Playing every inch of the court, never giving up on anything you do, intense preparation for the week’s ahead and constant energy.
WEEK #2 MONDAY SEPTEMBER 24 “SELF IMPROVEMENT”
YOU MUST learn how to: ball fake, shot fake, use screens, take it to the rack, not kill your dribble, move without the ball, using the half court spacing techniques. We will drill on YOUR self-improvement and then for the last 30 minutes put it to use.
WEEK # 3 MONDAY October 1 “SHOOTING WITH INTENSITY DRILLS”
There are NOT enough players who know how to shoot and can shoot—why??? We will break it down and tell YOU what YOU need to do to become a BETTER shooter. We will give YOU a plan for success.
WEEK # 4 MONDAY OCTOBER 8 “SHOOTING -PART #2-OFFENSIVE MOVES
This is where the game is at NOW. You need to be able shoot the ball. We carry out the plan from the previous week on shooting with drills and recording our shots.
WEEK # 5 MONDAY OCTOBER 15 “PLAYING THE FULL COURT GAME”
Do YOU really know how to play the full court game?? How to use the court?? Playing without the ball on offense and defense? INTENSE NIGHT ON PLAYING THE GAME FULL COURT.
WEEK #6 MONDAY OCTOBER 22 “LEAVING AS A BETTER PLAYER AND WITH A PLAN”
OK. Where are you after five weeks? Let’s continue to get after it again but at a MUCH HIGHER INTENSITY level. Let’s develop an offensive self-improvement plan for YOU. You now have over 1 month to implement the plan on your own to get ready for YOUR season.
In each session there will be defensive drills to help you play on this side of the court-staying low, pressing the ball handler, boxing out, etc. Most defensive drills will be individual drills to help you play YOUR game so you can help YOUR team during the season.
