Coaching Staff

Brett Stinchfield has been coaching AAU for Starland for 3 years. He played at East Bridgewater High School and has a degree in Sport Management from UMass-Amherst. While at UMass, he was a student manager for the UMass Men’s Basketball team where he worked closely with the head coaches helping shape his coaching style he uses today. He is currently the Freshmen Basketball Coach at Marshfield High School.

Malcolm Bailey has worked the last 20 years coaching youth teams with players ranging from age 5 to 18 years old.  He is a coach, former college player, and a 15-year licensed basketball referee who is well acquainted with the general practices, principles, and philosophical aspects of youth programs. Malcolm loves the game of basketball and has a passion to improve the quality of life for youth through sports and academics to develop the total athlete.

Brian J. Greenwood has been playing, teaching and coaching basketball for over 40 years. An accomplished athlete, Brian played basketball in high school, college and in Ireland. As a proven coach and skills trainer, he has had the opportunity to coach and teach players at all levels of the game. Brian is a skills instructor for Breakthrough Basketball, an international organization providing intense, high level training, skills instruction and resources for players, coaches and parents all over the world. The founder and lead instructor for Bring It Basketball, Brian is currently the Head High School Girls Coach for Supernova AAU in Hanover.

Brian takes a games versus traditional approach to coaching basketball. He emphasizes Zero Seconds-Basketball Decision Training(BDT). Mind training which bridges the gap between skills training and game application. His players learn ballhandling, shooting and decision-making skills in a random, game like environment which increases their enjoyment, retention and transfer helping them become more complete and effective basketball players.

Brian is success driven and results oriented. An avid student of today’s game, he is an expert at teaching the fundamentals of basketball, footwork and developing player’s skills and confidence both on and off the court.
