Weekly skills practice every Wednesday. Coaches will focus on: finishing at the basket, proper shooting mechanics, ball handling, defensive and offensive basketball IQ and much more! Every Sunday night we will have a scrimmage. We will choose new teams every Sunday.

James (“Jim”) Morocco is the coach for our AAU Development Program. He enters his first season with Supernova.  Jim holds a degree in Fitness Management from Fitchburg State University where he lettered in basketball for 4 years. Known for his defensive tenacity and 3-point shooting ability, Jim worked tirelessly each offseason to continue to improve his skill set, earning the honor of team captain as a senior. Post collegiate playing career, Jim made several appearances on the sidelines as an assistant coach for both men’s and women’s NCAA Division III programs.  A genuine student of the game,  Jim regularly attends clinics and camps to enhance his knowledge of the game. He believes that coaching is as much about building relationships , then it is about ‘X’s’ and ‘O’s’. Jim is entering his 3rd season as a varsity assistant at East Bridgewater High School and is in the process of completing his Massachusetts Teachers Certification/Licensure .

Brett Stinchfield has been coaching AAU for Starland for 3 years. He played at East Bridgewater High School and has a degree in Sport Management from UMass-Amherst.
