ACADEMY DESCRPTION: This clinic is designed for players that have developed their fundamentals and are looking to advance their shooting skills. Players must have some experience playing rec or travel basketball. Coaches will focus on proper form, triple threat, footwork, shooting off the catch, shooting off the dribble, and much more!
Meet the coach
Coach Stinchfield has been coaching AAU for Starland for 2 years. He played at East Bridgewater High School and has a degree in Sport Management from UMass-Amherst. While at UMass, he was a student manager for the UMass Men’s Basketball team where he worked closely with the head coaches helping shape his coaching style he uses today. He is currently the Freshmen Basketball Coach at Plymouth South High School.

DESCRIPTION: Friday’s with Fish is run by Hall of Fame Coach, Bob Fisher of Marshfield High School. This will be an action packed series of drill work, philosophy, basketball IQ and game situations.
Week #1: “Let’s Get After It and Self Improvement”
Devoted to the Way YOU Should Play the Game – Playing Every Inch of the Court– Never Giving Up. Preparing to Playing the Game the right way—- Intense Constant energy. Learn How To: Ball & Shot fake, Use Screens, Take it to the Rack, Not kill your Dribble, Move without Ball, Proper Spacing Techniques. We will drill on YOUR Self-Improvement and for last 30 minutes put it to use.
Week #2: “Shooting with Intensity Drills”
NOT Enough Players Know How to Shoot and Can Shoot—Why ?? — Mechanics. !!! We will Break it Down and tell YOU what YOU need to do to become a BETTER shooter. We will give YOU a plan for success.
Week #3: “Playing the full court game!”
Do YOU Really Know How to Play the Full Court Game?? How to use the court?? Running the court without the ball, Getting open—Helping Teammates Get Open – Setting Proper Screens. INTENSE NIGHT ON PLAYING THE GAME FULL COURT.
