Starland Basketball: 2-Day Junior’s Clinic

When: June 28th and June 29th


9am-10:30am(Grades K-2)

10:30am-12pm (Grades 3 & 4)

Cost: $50

CLINIC DESCRIPTION: Our program is designed to develop basic fundamentals and an understanding of the game.  Skills to be demonstrated include:  ball handling, shooting form, triple threat, balance, follow through, team work and proper release.

Meet the coach…

Coach Stinchfield has been coaching AAU for Starland for 2 years. He played at East Bridgewater High School and has a degree in Sport Management from UMass-Amherst. While at UMass, he was a student manager for the UMass Men’s Basketball team where he worked closely with the head coaches helping shape his coaching style he uses today. He is currently the Freshmen Basketball Coach at Plymouth South High School.

Breakthrough Basketball: Ball Handling, Shooting, and Decision Training Camp

When: July 10-12th

Time: 9am-3pm

Grades: 7-12 Boys and Girls

Starland Basketball: Boys and Girls Basketball Clinic with Coach Q and Coach Fisher

When: July 16-20th

Time: 9am-4pm

Grades: 5-9 Boys and Girls


Full Session: $229 (Preregister before June 15th for $199; Spring 2018 Supernova Players $169)

Half Session: $149 (Preregister before June 15th for $119; Spring 2018 Supernova Players $99)

**Half Session consists of 5 half days.**

Clinic Description: This clinic focuses on developing the complete player. You will develop shooting, ball handling, passing, footwork, defense, rebounding, athleticism, character development, and other essential skills to become a great a basketball player. You also get to take the skills you practiced and apply them in a controlled game setting. It is both fun and intense.

Supernova AAU Basketball: Attack and Counter Basketball Clinic

July 30th – August 3rd

Time: 9-4PM

Grades: 4-9 Boys and Girls

Cost: $129

Clinic Description: This clinic is based on the “attack” and then “counter” philosophy. It will improve your shooting, ball-handling, perimeter moves, post moves, finishing, aggressiveness, quickness, basketball IQ, and much more!

Meet the coach…

Heath “Noopy” Texeira will be running the clinic. Coach Noopy’s basketball career spans over 30 years in a variety of roles including player, scout, recruitment, player development, trainer, management, assistant and head coaching. Whether K-12, travel leagues, AAU, college, clinics, combines, professional (PBL, NBL & ABA), or international basketball, the goal of developing athletes to work to their full potential both on and off the court are his priorities. In his efforts with young athletes, together they work to improve skills, deepen understanding of the game, and to set clear goals. Noopy conveys the principles of being part of a team, representing an organization and carrying themselves as athletes.
